speed of women's and men's ground stork ? A friend of mine told me he saw Justine Henin Hardenne hitting 90 mph average groundies. I was surprise because I have seen a shot by rodick with his big for hand witch was speed of a bullet to me and they said it was 90 m shot in the raider gun. Im confuse. I thought guys hit harder then girls......

On average, forehands for males should be like about 70-90 at higher speeds I'd say. I've seen Gonzo hit like 115 or so, other guys have hit 105 etc. when they rip, but no way Henin can hit 90 on average.

I remember during Agass - Safin match at AO, they showed one of the points and said that it was one of the hardest hitting points they've seen. The speeds were in 80s with Safin hitting down the line forehand winner at 90 or something.

Henin can barely top the 90 MPH on her first serve on a consistent basis. So , I highly doubt she could hit backhands consistently over 90 mph.
