I just wanted to find out a couple of things about the ZM9T before I went ahead and bought a pair.
Firstly, Im a fast and powerful mover on the court and have previously been a fan of the courtballistecs and barricades due to their impressive stability. Does the ZM9T offer good stability? As I really do not want to roll an ankle. Ive heard stories about the vapor tipping over and I want to find out if this really is the case. I would also like to know about the sizing. I wear a size 12 US in the courtballistec 3.3 and a size 11.5 US in the barricade 7. Does anybody have any recommendations on what size I should get in the vapor 9 tour? Much thanks for any advice.

If your main concern is stability go cb 4.3.

Honestly, if you're going to roll ankles, then you're going to roll ankles. Not a single shoe out there can stop the mis-directed forces when you roll an ankle.
And if you are concerned about durability, you're better off with the Court Ballistecs or the Barricades.

This shoe is for those who don't care about durability or can afford to replace the shoes every 2 or 3 months.

I would be thrilled if I could get 2-3 months out of ANY shoe.

How many times and hours do you guys play a week? I only get to play on the weekends so it lasts me about 2 to 3 months.

Stability, Flexibility, Maneuverability, Breathability, are all Hallmarks of this shoe ... Durability is not ... It is the ultimate performance shoe IMHO
Personally use Ballistecs and Barricades as training shoes and have stocked up on a couple pairs of Vapors for Match Day or when playing equal level players. |

I pronate myself ... The outside part of the heel is what first wears on my shoes ...
This is pretty much unavoidable ... But this is the lightest shoe that I have ever owned that has kept me from over pronating and rolling my ankle etc. |

This is for the V8 by the way, but I don't suspect the V9 being much different as far as wear goes.

The 9 is A TOTALLY DIFFERENT SHOE! You can't correlate the 2.

The 8 and 9 have the same traction ... Wear patterns are the same regardless of shoes you have on BTW.

Yep, he pretty much said it. The vapors is for those people that want speed in exchange of durability. the ballistics is for those who want durability and stability but sacrificing the lightweight.
If your using a ballistic right, it's best you should stick to it. Otherwise your gonna grind the outsole of the vapors fast.

The Vapor 9s are my new favorite shoe. Very comfortable. I wear them during match play. I have my last good pair of CB 2.3s for training and practice. I still love those.

You're telling me the 9 is more durable than the 8? Please.
If I pre-maturely wear out the trend near the ball area in one shoe, I'm going to pre-maturely wear out the trend near the ball area in another shoe.

One difference between 8's and 9's is arch support,,9's are low, 8's are medium,,thats why I switched to B7's,,My foot likes med arch support..

Sure he can. He's a keyboard warrior. Probably has some petty bone to pick with Nike.
So you exposed your bias. You wear out ALL shoes sliding - none of them will survive very long.

I don't have a bone to pick with Nike. I'm happy with their product aside from the increase in price compared to their pre-2012 offerings. I've accepted that the Vapor line isn't going to last, and very few shoes will be as durable as they advertise to be simply because of the way I skid and slide. Now, back to my original point. I gave the initial suggestion that the Vapor won't be durable at all, especially if they were to be compared to the Ballistec and Barricade line. Using my Vapor 8 as an example, I said it didn't last long for me and where I was pre-maturely wearing the shoes. It was then countered with the Vapor 9 being "completely different". And I simply said that the Vapor 9 isn't anymore durable than the Vapor 8. That was my point. If I'm wrong about the durability, then prove me wrong, because so far, Vapor 9 users are reporting the same minimum durability consistent with Vapor's history. You sound like a keyboard warrior, do you have a petty bone to pick with me? Whether you do or not, pick on the author's original argument, instead of fabricating one of your own just to argue about.
