Wimbledon is going to be risky for him. Basically RG is his only remaining crown that he's a favourite to win.
He's not going to win anymore non-clay Masters titles. I see the Fedal era is nearing the end in terms of domination. I also see Del Potro being the 3rd man alongside Murray and Djokovic who is going to be a roadblock for both Nadal and Federer.
Murray hasn't played any better in 2012.

In 2011, Murray lost to Nadal in 4 sets at Wimbledon. In 2012, Murray lost to Federer in 4 sets at Wimbledon. No difference.

In 2011, Murray lost to Nadal in 4 sets at US Open. In 2012, Murray beat Djokovic in 5 sets at the US Open, but anyone who saw that match will tell you Djokovic DID NOT PLAY WELL, and was a shadow of his 2011 US Open form.

And you actually think Murray played well in the US Open 2011 against Nadal? Murray was a victim of poor scheduling, coming into the match exhausted after playing John Isner in a tough match less than 24 hours prior. Murray also blew Federer off the court at the Olympics on grass in the final.
Also the last time Murray and Nadal played, Nadal only managed to win 4 points in the 3rd set.

So everybody says Nadal is useless after the US Open each year but when Murray mauls him in Tokyo its supposed to mean something? Seriously?

Murray's best ever performance vs Nadal was 2010 Australian Open 6-3, 7-6(2), 3-0 RET and 2008 US Open 6-2, 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-4.

Murray was great at the Olympics, but Federer had just beaten Del Potro 17-15 in the semi.

Yes Djoko and Murray and Federer are doing well BUT Nadal has been resting while the others are using their weary body everyday to attain these heights - it all comes round in the end to endurance

Good point. I think the last Aust open was his undoing and it didn't do any good for Djoko either

I agree, cos Nadal took Feb off and still complained of pain at Indian Wells and then withdrew before Miami semis, and he said he shouldn't have played Miami. So whatever happened at the Australian Open was the cause. And I think Djokovic looked jaded by Wimbledon.

I actually enjoy Nadal's vacation too. First of all, nobody is spanking Federer's wrinkly azz in Nadal's absence, and secondly, it opens up the draws a little bit (I've grown tired of this "big 4" thing).
