Default Hybrid vs Full Bed

Just want to check what % of people here use which.

BTW any 2 different strings are considered hybrid, even just different gauge or color.

Full bed all the way. Hybrid means I'll use 2 strings, meaning I'll be drawn back into testing more new strings again...and again...and AGAIN.

I use a Full bed of poly string. The hybrid setups with synthetics in the cross just didn't have enough durability for me.

My current setup is the Babolat Pure Drive Team (woofer technology) with Dunlop BW at 58lbs.

Currently use full bed of poly on my racquets - have one strung with Sonic Pro 16G and the other with Cyclone 16G.

About to cut the Sonic Pro out and try out the new Sonic Pro Edge. Looking forward to that, as I love the original Sonic Pro.

Always poly crosses. I don't quite care which one as long as it is slippery...

Always gut/poly. I might vary gauge and specific string choice but always gut/poly.

I've tried full bed gut, multi, and poly and just couldn't feel the same level and combination of comfort, control, and spin as I get with gut/poly.

I belive gut / poly is the best in everything. I think I have found my perfect setup with pk ki5 315 and tonic ballfeel / MSV CoFocus 17 at 57 / 53.
Probably will try small changes in the gauge and tensions.

I hybrid polys. I like BHBR as a main and any smooth poly as a cross.

Poll is closer than I thought, didn't expect that high of % on hybrid.

It depends on what full bed and hybrid you're using- but I would say full bed is a tiny bit better.

The poll is about what you use, not which is better.

I mostly use poly/multi hybrids. Sometimes I reminisce with a full bed of multi. This time of year, it's anybody's guess what will work best, and at what tension.

??? I don't follow, you mean you don't know what you will be using? You can just vote with what you use most now.

Because it's still cool weather up here in Boston, I'm now using Intellitour in one racquet and Maxim Touch in the other. So I guess the answer is a full bed of multi. As soon as the temps start going into the 70s, I'll switch over to poly/multi hybrids.

Some people feel like hybrids are the best of both worlds, and some feel like they're the worst of both worlds! Haha...

I'm on team Full Bed (mostly because it's easier for me to keep track of what I'm testing lol)

I was using full poly at 48, but recently switched to gut/poly at 55/50 a couple months back and I can't think of anything different now!

I've been stringing either hybrid (poly/multi) or full bed depending on how much of a twistweight the frame has. For a lower twistweight, I would use a hybrid to match the softer cross string to more flexible frame sides. A frame that has a higher twistweight seems to work well with full bed stringing.

I like a full bed of poly, but right now I'm using gut/poly. If I ran out of gut I would rather do a full bed of poly than use a Syn gut or multi cross.
