Best Cheaper Insole/Support for Shoe?

Hey guy, so I cracked open a new pair of Bab shoes, and for some reason, I am getting some knee pain, and I am pretty sure it is due to not enough cushioning compared to my regular Barricades and CBs.

I wanna get some insoles or some kind of cushioning support to put ontop of the current insoles, and I wanna start under $20, even cheaper would be great, if possible. Anyone have any recommendations? I wear a size 12-13.

Those other ones you listed look more like something for wearing all day versus a sporting event.

I only use the SofSoles in my tennis shoes. I have a bit of a high arch and the cushioning they give helps a LOT. I don't wear them in any other shoes or for any other activity. That's saying a lot cos I do a lot of hiking and don't even need that kind of cushioning in my hiking boots - lol.

Sofsoles are not 20 bucks, try double that.
It's arch support is waaay to wimpy for me, so I'll take 35 dollar Superfeet Oranges.
For just cushioning, double up on the insole and look for the heavy cushy nitrogen filled foam ones.

I get them for 15 bucks. There are definitely bigger/heavier insoles but I am light on my little (size 6 lol) feet so would not want a bigger/bulkier insole.

Note that support and cushioning is not the same thing. Orthotic insoles may provide some cushioning but they are usually designed primarily for support by stabilizing the heel, supporting the arch and redistributing foot pressure. Usually the cushioning aspect of an insole will break down before the support does. In fact, cushioning will often last only for a month or so.

A good orthotic insole will promote proper foot and body alignment that can prevent problems with the feet, ankles, shins, knees, hips and lower back. Not sure that you will be able to find a cheap orthotic insole that will fix your problem. While you might be able to find a cheap cushioning insole, it might not provide the support that you need to prevent the knee pain that you are experiencing.

Sorbothane Sorbo Air or Medi-Dyne Tulis Road Runners Insoles are thick, cushy, and under $20 pr. Crocs insoles are nice too. Use them all.

No I paid $45 here in Australia.

I no longer have pain in my shins, and I've only worn them twice.

The inner sole of a Vapor 9 is horrid. Does nothing.

Inflasole looks intriquing.
I have really flat feet.
I crush Superfeet, PowerMax, and SofSoles at the arch, crushing the arch of the shoe until it sags. Using slightly longer inserts, I stretch out the length of the shoe, while flattening the arch...and blistering the skin of my arch....but have learned to take out the inserts before it get's that bad.
Trying foot (arch) exercises currently.

Thanks for posting that site, Ronaldo.
I actually have those supports right next to my computer right now, but they are an older version without the blue padding or the heel holes.
Also, they are a smaller size than I need, I"m size 11.
But the problem is that I crush the shoe underneath, giving my shoe a swayback look, like a sagging piece of foam.
Maybe I just need better shoes.

Saw these insoles at a Dollar store for $3 pr. What shoes do you wear?
