I'll be in the Palm Springs area over the Holidays, anyone know a good place to hit, do a clinic, or get a lesson? Have looked at some places online, don't seem to be any indoor courts, most of the places look like they're shut down during Dec. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

One place to try is the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Any visitor can play on most of their 24 hardcourts for $20 a day. With a week's notice, they guarantee to find you a match.
You'll experience dry weather there at least half the time. |

I'm just north (about an hour away) and you will not be seeing much rain down that way. I would worry about the cold though, in the morning it's below freezing and gets quite chilly during the evenings. Like GS said, check out the IW Tennis Garden. There's also a club on the outskirts that have HC, Clay, and Grass courts, though I think it might be a bit more expensive.

I have taken lessons and had games arranged at the Plaza Club over the years.
More affordable and nice courts/quality instruction. http://plazarc.com

The JW Marriott has a fantastic facility with all types of surfaces. Top notch.
