Cool

tennis.com has a profile of the GR5's that includes a men's version not pictured here...black with silver and blue trim. This will be my choice...best looking black shoe I've ever seen!

I dig those. I used the gr3's and skipped out on the 4's as a couple pair of vapor tours fell in my lap at more than 50% off. Too bad those wear out so fast.

Has there been a set release date yet? Also, I have a $115 credit from TW for shoes. Will I be able to use it on newly released shoes?

I'm going to guess Feb 1 as it was for the 3 and 4, if I remember correctly.

I don't see why not.

Those blue/white ones (second pic in first post) are so clean and nice looking. Don't think they're US releases, though. The Tennis Mag review said we're getting the white/blue, black/blue and the yellow ones in the US.

Those black ones look really sweet -- too bad Asics are too narrow in the forefoot and toe box for me.

The all blue colorway is not going to be released in the US, asics has put up the other 3 on their american website. The gel challenger 9 is similar to it though in appearance.

I hate to give advice to companies as to how to make more money from us, but if you are going to make colourful footwear you might want to consider matching it with socks that are not just white and some black.
