Default Is Forten sweet 16 the right choice for 10 years old girl?

I am looking for the right string for my daughter's racqet. She is a beginner, currently uses a Yones EZone Lite. What string would you recommend? I am looking at Forten Sweet 16 because its softness, but I am not sure.

You can't go wrong with Sweet 16, unless she hits so hard that she snaps it in a week.
Gamma Syngut 16 (orig) is also good if you want to play around with the cosmetics. Nice colors.

I'm with fortun8. She will not notice the difference, so look at Gamma, Prince or Dunlop and let her pick the color she wants.

Forten Sweet will be fine. In fact, any decent synthetic gut will be fine.

At 8 years old, she should be looking to have fun, enjoy herself, and develop her game rather than worrying too about results or trying to squeeze than nth degree of advantage from equipment.

While a 10 year old may not be too fussy about strings (aside from attractive color options!), you might expect just a little trial and error to get the right tension for her. Maybe not - it could certainly come out fine for her the first time.

That string type is great for your young "slug-ette" (I prefer 16 ga. syn. gut in my racquets) and the first stringing you have done will give you a reference tension. If you ask to have it done right at mid recommended tension or maybe one or two lbs. higher, then you'll know what to do in case it feels awful for her.

If the racquet feels like a rubbery disconnected marshmallow when she hits the ball, restring 2 or 3 lbs. higher. If it feels harsh, like hitting the ball with a strip of plywood, try restringing a couple lbs. looser. Also be careful to not change too much at once - this applies to all of us.

If let's say you want a softer setup and decide to switch to a softer type of string like a multifiber, you probably want to go with about the same tension that you used in the previous setup, just so that the change isn't too unpredictable.

Technifibre Syngut is nice too and it's very inexpensive.

My 12 year old has babolat tonic natural gut in her mains, and the slightly crisper Gosen OG Micro (White color) in the crosses in her Dunlop aerogel 600 and she can hit all day with that setup and gets good pop and never says anything hurts. That setup lasts a long time too.
