i am no expert in ntrp, but I reckon the guy in the blue and the guy in the grey are better than 3.0

yellow and the girl, probs 3.0 but I only watched a few points..

They aren't looking at their smartphones while playing. Can't really be Korea.

If they were playing Minecraft, it looks like they would be on level 17.

they are 3.0s. one of the girls there has some good pace, so she's in the upper limits of the 3.0 world, but yeah, 3.0s.

Lol I wasn't sure if I was seeing things but I swear one of those players over there is a female. Or a really feminine guy.

they look like 3.5 to 4.0 players. their volleys are horrendous and some of their shots are awkward but serving and groundies look like 3.5 - 4.0 range.

and as sumo says -- just with their serve alone they are at least 3.5 and likely a bit higher.

** looking some more i think the guy in blue shirt is probably higher - and possibly a 4.5 or higher just effing around with his friends. **

Middling 3.5 with some strong shots, and some weak technique.
Girl is the weakest, so she's also a 3.5

Honestly they all look like 4.0's to me.

Even the girl looks like a 4.0 (albeit a womens 4.0 not a mens)

They seem to be having a fun match, so I think they are not playing quite the same way they would if this were a tournament or more serious match.

They are not close to any kind of 4.0 unless you include bump ups from a weak area.
No second serves, no volleys, no placement, inconsistent with pace, poor court coverage, bad movement.
The girl CAN be 4.0 women, but that would equate to 3.2 mens.

Are people watching the same video?

In the one I saw, the guys in the blue and gray seemed to be a level above the other players. The NTRP 3.0 thing is just confusing, especially if you've ever watched 3.0s play.

The match didn't look very serious. I don't think I saw a decent volley in any of the parts I watched.

I think you're confusing their relaxed playing for lack of ability ... none of them are really trying to play hard (except the girl) so you have to look at other things.

Out of the 3 guys

The one playing with the girl is a 4.0 easy

The taller of the other 2 is borderline 3.5/4.0 in my opinion

And the shorter one looks like a mid to high 3.5 to me but no lower.

He can hit, and he seems to have good footwork and a solid serve as well. No way he's a 3.0, not even close. I don't think the others are either.

No lower than 3.5, serve technique is too good. Most people playing 3.5 still frying pan forehand serve.

My guess would be lower level 4.0. You have to remember how bad people look on video.

3.0 from what I've seen is almost beginner level.

Maybe we can look these people up and find out more about them. There can't be that many Koreans named Park and Kim.

He was joking.

The serves weren't 3.0 that's for sure.
