I am starting to feel uneasy about all the galactic black holes, dark matter, and dark energy these days. I am thinking about getting a kitten to predict space weather for me.

Not at all. I kept breaking things in the last few days.

First, I did some shopping and a bottle of soy sauce broke through the plastic bag and got smashed completely on the road.

Second, I bought another bottle of soy sauce and when I opened the refrigerator door, this bottle of soy sauce broke the compartment and fell on to the kitchen floor and got smashed completely like the first one.

Fourth, I my handycam refused to start when I went birdwatching.

Thanks for sharing – misbehaviour of familiar inanimate objects can be very troubling. I had a similar string of revolting behaviour in the summer of 2008 when beer bottles started exploding inside the fridge without provocation, so I can relate.

In recent weeks I have also seen unusual behaviour, including cats and police. One morning last week there was a commotion in the building, the super knocked on my door and it turned out they were looking for the owner of a kitten. The kitten was sitting on top of the stairwell, looking troubled, distraught, and determined.

In another development, there was always a black cat loitering around the dumpsters in the back of the building. This morning I took out the garbage and there were two black cats. They are consolidating?

The electronics have also been misbehaving, but that could be for a million reasons I suppose.

On Wenesday one of the tennis players in our club slipped on the bathroom floor and hurt his head which was bleeding furiously... then we watched some news on tv later on that evening and one of our pro divers also hit his head and had to be taken to hospital.......

The deceptive quietude around the globe is most disconcerting. Apparently the trans-galactic shift is deeper than any of us had anticipated.

Through a combination of some fairly complex math stuff and my ability to read and interpret signs, I predict this End of December Phenomenon to occur on or about the 31st of the month. I've begun arranging my schedule to be sure I'm wearing clean underwear that day. Otherwise, it will be mostly buiness as usual.
