Default Best 18 Ga string for spin and durability?

I've done some searches and didn't find the answers so looking for your help.

I'll be stringing in POG Mids (14 by 18, 30 lbs) and POG OS (16 by 19, 35 lbs) and Prince Borons (POG OS Size, 35 lbs)

What strings will impart the most spin and last more than a few hours? I hit hard, long strokes and like a LOT of spin!

Thanks in advance!

Default Hybrid

Kevlar 17 on the mains & any nylon 16 on the crosses.

I was surprised with how much spin it offered the first time I played with it. It might be hard on the arm though..

Lasted me up to 2 weeks+! (~14+ hrs of decent hitting time)
& if you string yourself, it costs ~$6.00 per stringbed.

Tourbite 18! As much spin as you want with pretty good durability.

If you're dead set on 18g, Ashaway braided Kevlar mains.

If you just want something with great spin potential at low tension, buy a 17 or 16g polygonal poly from your preferred brand.

Thanks HappyMilk? Any partucular brands? $6 per stringbed is nice! I got a Klippermate I'm learning to use.

I believe Weiss Cannon Mosquito Bite will fit the bill.

Signum Pro Poly Plasma....
I know, they're rather "old school" but work well for spin, durability (as far as 18g goes) and tension maintenance.
I actually use 17g now in my X's with VS Team in M's. I think this combo gives me way more spin & control.

Does Tour Bite really last? It seems to last me only 3 days. If I hybrid even less.

Very cool Guys - great suggestions!

I'm leaning to Mosquito Bite so far - anyone try Gamma Zo Black Ice 18?

My high praise or tur bite may be due to switching to an 18x20. The spin is as good as it gets though, that I can almost garentee so it depend if you want more spin or duribilty to narrow your strings further

For spin, durability, AND price - 18 Gauge Gamma Power Play Kevlar. Only $4.95 - then cut it in half for 2 sets of mains to cross with your favorite soft poly.

I agree plus in the poly line nothing beats luxilon bb ace, the polys mentioned above are not even close.

I have a set of this on order. I'm planning on stringing it @44 (dropweight) in my Aerogel 200. Does this sound about right? I tried it last Spring @50 and I got no power out of it. What racquet are you using and what tension are you using?

I use it as a cross in several sticks with TF X-1 Bipshase 16 mains. I had it in a full bed in a Head Youtek IG Prestige Pro and 50 and same thing - it was too stiff. Dropping it to 44 for a full bed is probably where you want to be.
