Yes I agree. Babolat clothing. at least the one I have seen sold in TW, is too simple and not alot of variety. Babolat has got to get a bit creative in apparel.

My current tension is 56 mains 58 crosses (PHT/VS)
I've bounced around from as high as 57/59 to as low as 55/57... nothing significantly different from my current tension! I believe I used to have a 3 pound differential at one time with my mains and crosses... so I had tensions of 55/58 and 56/59 before.
My racquet is the Pure Storm Tour GT and its 98 sq and 16x20!
I'm having a Pure Storm Tour strung with RPM 18 (mains @ 50) and VS Team (crosses at 4. I'm testing string the poly higher because it loses tension quicker than gut. I love fooling around with different racquets and not sure I can go back to all poly in PST.

Keep me updated on your progress.

What is your approximate rating, 5.0?

Why the gut strings lower in tension than the poly mains? Usually I hear at people string gut crosss at a higher tension but I am no expert in stringing (I know the basic stuff)?

I played a couple dubs matches for a 5.0 team. I play with a group of 5.5+ guys for fun. D3 college tennis alum. Kenyon Lords.

Should say 50/48. Poly & mains lose tension quicker. I really like a looser string. In PST, if I was doing all poly, I'd probably start at 46. Maybe not the most scientific approach but it works for me.

Stringer is a Babolat Star 5 (constant pull). If someone is stringing on a crank, I usually go 10% higher across the board for tensions.

any feedback on the apdgt that I dismantled? Im still trying to discern how the cortex would have any positive additions to the frame.

Only purchase Babolat product through authorized Babolat retailers (TW is one!). If the product was sold in the US, you can email the serial number and we can track it.

There are numerous fake racquets on auction websites (apparently you can't type their name) and amazon. Sadly we can not send you an actual racquet if you purchased a fake one.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

How did you enjoy your time in the thriving metropolis of Gambier? Always remember Kenyon being known for their great mens swim teams.

I'm from Ohio originally, and always go to the Western & Southern in Cincy. Appreciate your help on the forum, and will stop by to say hello in August.

Question regarding recent pure storm frames, the 2009 cosmetic and on. Have there been any stability/frame issues? I've had several of these frames and friends as well and they all seem to have structural issues around 10 and 11 clock. I treat them no differently than my other head and wilson frames, but these frames seem to have cracking/structural issues from normal hitting than compared with other rackets.

Yeah my friend had a pure storm gt and PSTGT and both of them cracked @10 oclock. This was after lead tape was installed, however...not sure if that was the straw that broke the camels back.

yep. I only trust TW
also, if the racquet (from a big racquet company) seems too bad, that is probably a fake

Oh boy. I live in Canton and love riding my motorcycle down to R&M South Side Diner in Mount Vernon whenever I can. Great cheeseburgers. Kenyon is a beautiful setting.

Do you go to the tourneys on behalf of Babolat? If so, what are your responsibilities there?

Thank you truly for taking your time and spending it with all us inquisitive folks and inputting your own perspective. I have found it very informative and interesting

Hello Daniel: Is it true that Babolat makes Wilson's Nat gut, and if so , is it not the same as the original VS gut before the BT7 gut?
Many of my nat. gut customers that hit with the older VS gut do not like the BT7 as it is more stiffer, as with anything if a change is made like making it more durable, then some characteristics are therefore changed as well.
Now the majority of my nat. gut customers hit with the Wilson Nat Gut as it is very similar to the old VS gut .
I just wanted to verify that the Wilson Natural Gut is the same as the older VS gut before the BT7.
