2. Market share is more Babolat than Wilson right now... And mass production Babolat and Wilson are in the same bad QC boat.
3. Sampras?

Yea man, since you brought it up I looked them up, very similar to traditional, less stiff, heavier.

Thanks Dude, you're a cool dude, I don't say that for anyone.

I asked our in house stringer (who will be at RG 2013)...His recommendation:

-inset the very bottom grommets first (6 holes near handle)
-insert the grommets into bumper guard before inserting into frame
-make sure the handle tie off hole is near the handle (hole 10h)
-start at the top of the racquet, alternating every two grommets and slowly work your way to the handle

does that help?

FYI, the tie off hole for Pure Storms is on the top (reverse of Pure Drives).

If you want, shoot me an email and I can put you in contact with our stringer.

Any chance they will release a softer version of the Pure Drive or Aero pro Drive will be released in the future? I like both racquets, but they don't like me.

I string my pure storm crosses in a two piece bottom to top.

Is this correct?

Buy a starting clamp and start from the top. I think either way is fine though.

I have a starting clamp, but I prefer starting with a bulky knot.

I am pretty sure bottom to top is ok, but I wanted to verify, you used a clamp on yours and went top to bottom?

Yes, it was easier to string the crosses on the Pure Storm Tour by using the starting clamp at the top. If you have a starting clamp, I'd definitely recommend using it to start your crosses versus the bulky knot.

Sorry I meant 10 throat/bottom for crosses (for some reason I was equating H to handle).

If you don't want to use a starting clamp, you can make the 7 top/head hole bigger and start there and then tie off on 7 handle/bottom. This is what our string does with the Pure Storm and Pure Storm Tours.

Ok..so don't do bottom to top basically? I don't want to damage the frame.

Funny, you guys don't even string your rackets according to the instructions!
