I tie flies for fishing as well and have plenty of fine kevlar thread available which is extremely strong and slick and thought it might suit the purpose nicely since you aren't going to break it by applying a decent force in order to move that main.

You are talking about moving a string one inch long it is going to take a lot. I would just use a scrap string. By using a tennis string the thickness of the string itself will hol the string up off the blocked hole a little.

I've never had to use a lockiing tool, or a boomarang tool

easy
Just hold the table with your off hand and hip and tension.

Now this is easyily done with a electronic stringer. not sure about a hand crank.

But it works easily and works a lot faster.

Dude, you have a Babolat Sensor and don't use the brake?!?!

BTW holding off the handle with your hip, may be easy with a 70+ lbs machine. But if your using a table top, might not be as easy.

Default Prince O3s on Prince Neos

A socket? You have got to be kidding, how do you get it to stay in? When I first started stringing O3s I used an extension either 3/8 or 1/2 depending on the spacing of the crosses. Now when I string one piece I use a loop of braided nylon string. Put the loop in the port below the string you are going to tension, under the string you want to tension, then use the tail of the loop to go over the string you want to tension, and through the loop. You'll be surprised how easy it is to hold the string in the correct position.

IMO 2p 50/50 is the best method as it is the only method that provides a balanced tension on the top and bottom crosses of the racket. BUT I have strung standard rackets with the 2p 50/50 and can't tell the difference.
Irvin, when stringing O3s on Prince Neos do you definitely need starting clamp? I was able to string 50/50 use the glide bar clamps and everything seems just fine. What are your thoughts?

With a NEOS no you don't need a starting clamp. You can use one glide bar and clamp for the top half the crosses and the other for the bottom. There are some glide bar machines that use a short glide bar though and one clamp is used for the crosses clamped on the right side and another for the left. Then you need either flying clamps or a starting clamp.
