Hey everyone, just wanted to hopefully shed some light on some of the questions. I have played with both of the blades and the juice. I thought the juice was lighter and had power, but I felt a bit more pushed around than I did with the blades. I am actually switching to the blade 16x19. In comparison to the 18x20 it offers more spin potential and a bit more pop off the strings, however I will say the 18x20 offers a high level of spin compared to pretty much every other 18x20 pattern I have used. Someone mentioned the launch angle already and I agree with that. The demo I used of the 18x20 had some lead tape at roughly 2 and 10 o clock. I thought it felt fine on my two handed backhand but I felt a tad late on my forehand. The 18x20 is a tad more stable outside the sweet spot than the 16x19 but I still found plenty of stability in the 16x19. Hope it helps.

I can't decide between the 16x19 and 18x20.

When I was young I always played with Wilson rackets (Hammer).
Then I stopped for more then 10 years and when I started again I used a Babolat Aero Pro Drive. I like the racket, but i think it lacks soms control for placing long balls or returning fast deep spin balls. So I wan't to replace it with something with more control but doesn't have less power.

I don't play power tennis, because when I try i can't control the ball.
I used to have a two handed backhand in my youth but now I have a one handed backhand most of the time. I like to train the two handed backhand again to have more power in my defense on the backhand site.
I don't play with a lot of spin. Mostly straigth balls. I like to use all of the court with smart tennis and long/short balls.
My serve is not bad. Not the fastest but variously placed.

In my search for a new racket i came on the new Wilson Blade 98 frame.
Which version do you think suits me best? I don't have a possibility to test the rackets.
Are there other rackets which you can propose which suits my needs?

There's tons of info in this very thread. Plus TW did a great review on it. There also a review of it on Tennis Xpress.

I had both the Blade 16x19 2013 version and the Head Graphene Speed Pro and did a comparison between the two and ended up with the Graphene Speed Pro. It was a more solid racquet and offered better control.

I'm currently demoing the 16x19. The demo has the factory string job (in the UK) which is Sensation.

I love serving with this, it's so easy. I found the racquet a bit un-controlable on ground strokes though and didn't totally feel comfortable hitting out with it.

How much does poly (in a hybrid or full bed) contain this racquet?
