Default Make my new EXO3 TOUR TEAM more headlight without increasing gripsize

Bought one and really liked it. I just want to make it a bit more heavier and also more headlight.

Easy job you think, use an overgrip. But I got a grip 3 and it is pretty big. So that is no go.

Lead in the handle. No option, because the racket has no back-door.

Get a new grip. Leather. Yeah thinking about that option. But i have to use an overgrip because leather gives me blisters.

Right now it is gripped with Resipro 1.8. Would a thin leather (1,5) with very tigh wrapped overgrip heavier (yes, but how much?) and not thicker than no?

Thanks for your advice.

Lead tape around the pallet under the grip. It's thin and not too noticeable.

Lead tape above the top of the grip. If you change grips, then put the lead over the butt cap or just under the top of the grip. SW should not increase too much and the balance will definitely become more HL.

Hmmm... Are you saying that the buttcap has no trapdoor? Or are you saying that the buttcap cannot be removed? You should be able to remove the buttcap to get access to the hollow sections of the pallet.

I would definately go with lead tape under the grip, far easier.

Yeah cool, that is the easiest way to do it.

While not the easiest location, inside the pallet might be the most effective location. If the OP's mission is to make the racquet as headlight as possible, while adding the least amount of weight, while not increasing grip size, then what you do is to concentrate as much weight as you can right at the very end of the grip, rather than spread out more evenly higher up on the grip.

If removing the buttcap seems too daunting a task, another option would be to get your Mc Gyver on. I've seen folks here secure coins (quarters) or lead fishing weights to the buttcap with velcro, or super glue, or that gummy stuff you can buy at art stores to stick posters onto walls.
