I play with head youtek ig speed 16x19
Msv focus hex 17L mains @58# Prince lightning Xx spin crosses @58# I have ordered the ig speed 18x20 plan on using same strings but I know that 58# tension is going to be high. wondering what suggestions would be for tensions on the denser string pattern. Thanks, Josh |

I think you should string it at your usual tension so you can see the difference for yourself, and adjust accordingly.
But to me, the dense pattern feels slight more boardy than an open pattern.

I take off about 10% when going from 16x19 to 18x20 - so 53lbs.

I think ill try droping the 10% first because in the past I played with a rebel 95 at 55# and it messed with my arm. I'm just hopeing the ig speed wont because my serves and my volleys really excelled with the dense pattern.
Thanks again, Josh |
