Recently developed an annoying condition called cold urticaria. basically I am allergic to cold. playing in Northern California and while the weather is very playable, it can be cool, especially at night when under the lights. when my skin gets chilled I break out in hives and have to quit playing.. Even if I am working up a good sweat it doesn't matter, if cold air hits my skin I have issues. it is making it very tough to play during winter months.
I am looking for light clothing that will keep the cold air off my skin, breathe well, and allows for movement. normally I do not like anything beyond shirt and shorts but that is no longer possible. the goal is to not have something that makes me sweat more as that actually makes things worse. any suggestions? |

I would check out Lululemon. They make clothes that are very breathable and comfortable. I think they make clothing for both really hot weather as well as cold weather.

Hey Icalamar, if you need to keep the cold air off the skin you might consider wearing compression pants and shirts. I know Skins makes long sleeve tops and bottoms. Very thin and offers great support. Im sure UA and Nike make them also and they would be cheaper than Skins.
