Not sure about your Nads and Djoker predictions, but the other two are safe bets.

It's tough to say. I think the maximum Nadal can hope for is QF's. I don't see Djokovic winning it again for some reason. Perhaps a SF exit. I don't see Federer winning it either, but nobody has ever backed up their first slam with a second in the next one, so history is against Murray as well. I think both Federer and Murray make at least the semis, but I think we could see a non top 4 champion. Perhaps Del Potro. He seems to be playing well right now, and if carries over I think he could win it.

Delpo has never done well at the AO. Never past QF. In those 2 QF's he got trashed horribly by RF.

Nah, I don't think so. It will be one of the top four winning the AO as far as I can see. Not sure which player it will be because they seem to be all over the place right now and inconsistent.

Yeah? So? He had never done anything really before winning the USO in 2009. He also made RG SF that year, with Fed on the ropes, and he hadn't done anything there before then either.

Let Del Potro win a Masters 1000 first. If he can't win this tournament now with the top four absent or out, he should retire.

Something similar to AO 2011.

I see something like that too. But this time I'd gave Murray a real shot.

Sure, fine, but again, he didn't have a M1000 when he won the USO did he? I know Delpo is a bit of an outsider pick, but seriously. Everyone's always big 4 this and big 4 that. If one of those guys wins it's not surprising, but the truth is it's probably never been easier in this new "big 4" era. Nadal will be coming off an injury, Federer's worst chance of winning outside the French is at the Australian. I could see Murray winning it, but as I said history is not on his side, and Djokovic will be the favourite, but I just have a feeling he won't win again. However if I had to bet money on it, and I had to be right, I'd pick Djokovic.

Am I the only one thinking Berdych or Tsonga could have a real shot at this? More than Delpo
