He should win Wimbledon. With Fed getting older, Rafa likely to take time recovering from his long break and Djoko not that big of a threat on grass, it's a golden opportunity for Murray in 2013. Let's see what he does with it.

You people do realize he's talking about Andy Roddick right? Not Andy Murray.

As it is, I think he was only winning 1 in this form, USO 2003 which is the one he won anyway. The reason I say this is because he played about 10 times better in his prime than he did in that video.

Same as he did during his career, probably - people seem to forget as hard as prime Roddick blasted the ball, prime Federer usually ate pace for lunch AND read Roddick's serve better than anyone.

That said, Roddick probably would have Wimbledon 04 if not for the rain delay - up until that point Federer wasn't making any tactical adjustments to handle Roddick's power off the ground. A shame, too - Federer was having some real issues dealing with Andy's monster FH that day,

Prime Roddick, USO 2003 was the best he got. He should've won more slams, tbh. He just got really, really unlucky that every time he was in slam-winning form he ran into Fed. Every, single, time.

It's been much the same for both Andys. 3 out of Murray's 4 Slam final losses came against Federer, the last one most recently at Wimbledon. So far, Federer seems to be the Slam nemesis for any player called Andy!

Well I think like Roger, Andy's backhand got significantly better as he got older. He also moved WAY BETTER when he was younger, however he was much stronger as he got older, like Fed is.

He was a much more rounded player at 25 than 23, so I am asking what if he stayed playing uber aggressive with an improved backhand. It isn't like he was terrible, I mean he has a winning H2H against Djoker. Yeah Fed read the serve impeccably, however I feel the 2009 Andy was a couple mistakes away from winning, and could have also *possibly* won in 04 as said.

I think Murray can beat Fed in a slam now, but the question is can he beat Ralph in a Wimby SF or at USO?

Roddick was more times then not was figured out by most of the top guys so who knows (Agassi, Hewitt, Fed figured Roddick out pretty quick)

Once you got Roddick into a rally fest, and got back his serve, he was pretty quick to fold since he didn't have a well rounded game

Well, of course he's already beaten Nadal at a USO semi (200. Wimby remains to be seen.

Career-wise? More positive than in the past I would say 6 slams would be the most but could be less like 4 slams.
