Default Could Nadal have won USO 2010 if he had met Juan Martin Del Potro from the 2009 USO?

The same Del Potro who launched forehand cross-court missiles past a hapless Federer from the USO 2009 Final? Could Nadal in his USO 2010 Finals form gone through that Del Potro to take first USO title?
The time they met was in 2009 USO when Nadal got blasted off the court, winning only 6 games. Although he did have a stomach tear.

LOL You're on drugs

Could Del Potro have won USO 2009 if he had met Nadal from the 2010 USO?

Yes, Nadal lost only 1 set, and didnt get broken until the quarters. Delpo lost 4 sets to worse players

Nadal peaked for that tournament, he would beat 2009 Delpo.

The important part is that Del Potro performed at his highest level for the semi's and finals in 2009. Delpo's level was a lot higher than Nadal's.

No it wasn't. Nadal's performance at the USO in 2010 was one his best. Delpo would have lost just like anyone else would have. Nobody was beating him there that year.

According to 5555, is that a fact or an opinion?

Can you prove it?

I don't know. I didn't think Nadal looked all that great in the final against one of the worst versions of Djokovic. Not that Del Potro was unbelieavable himself other than in the 5th set of the Federer match.

No he couldn't. Djokovic will at least get you into a rhythm. Del Potro will take your rhythm away from you with his power.

JMDP took out Nadal and Federer. Nadal has ALWAYS had an issue with JMDP's height.

I would say he performed at that level at the right times. He was getting soundly beaten by Federer until he kicked it into high gear and just started murdering the ball.

You have to use JMDP's match against Nadal, not the final versus Federer. Federer is a fantastic junk baller and Nadal's shots kick up into JMDP's wheel house. While nothing on here is ever apples to apples, using the 09 USO final as you basis is like making an apple to octopus comparison.

Absolutely!

Nadal USO 2010 was some of the best and most complete hard court acumen I have ever seen!

And not taking anything away from Delpo; but Federer's first serve % was off that day and it still took Delpo 5 sets to beat Federer. Nadal's 2010 USO serving was nearly flawless and he got broken a minimal amount of times in that tournament; one of the best performances regarding that category in a slam (I think)!

Right...

a more logical thing to do would be to normalize Nadal's and Delpo's performances using the prerequisite Fedephant index of factors through a system of thermodynamics and orthogonal wave functions to reach a ludicrous conclusion

So? Nadal played miles better in 2010 at the USO than he did in 2009. Delpo would not have beaten him.

All we know for sure is that 2004 USO final Fed would beat any of them in easy straight sets.
