Over in Auckland, Johanna Larsson (who is an excellent player) has the first against Goerges!

Like I said, Larsson is an excellent player! However, four trillion UE's by Goerges!

If Tomic beats Joker, I'm out. Canada, expect this guy to be joining you over the next month

Novak holds after about a million break point opportunites for Tomic - I'd imagine that's his fight over now and he'll get double bagelled..

Chockovic still in a giving mood, hands Tomic one of his chocolates.

GSM Tomic.
£10 on that would've got you over £100. Tomic had an astonishing 12 break points to Nole's 1. I guess we can safely say this won't be Novak's year... |

Meh match from Novak but inspired performance from Tomic, this guy still may have the most potential out of all young guns if he gets his head out of his ***** and commits to the game.
Yes, you can safely say that, if you're a troll.

He'll have to prove that out of Australia though. Or when he isn't playing in front of a huge crowd.

I know the haters are going to hate but my take on the match was that while Novak was definitely not on his game Tomic played some very positive tennis, clearly showed a marked improvement in his serve and aggressive passing shots both sides and didn't look like mentally going off.
As to whether this will carry over to the AO or overseas who can say, but from what I've seen there isn't much more he could be doing right now to demonstrate he has turned his game, and more importantly his head, around for the better. |

Is the speed gun in Doha rigged?
I just saw the replay of lopez-kubot and lopez served at 221 kph (137 mph). can he serve that hard or is the decive pimped? |
