There are no "non-CAP" bumpers for the Prestige Pro. You can use the Radical MP on the Prestige MP. It makes it swing much lighter. Most people will probably feel that it a non-capped MP will lack plow thru and feel unstable. It's relatively cheap and easy to give it a try (and easy to switch back if you don't like it).

I have a pt57e I just switched to from a Dunlop... not a CAP grommet fan.

Without CAPs you'll have to add plenty of weight to match the original balance. With that said, a Prestige without CAP grommets is sacrilege.

The i.Prestige MP is a very nice racquet. I like the C.A.P. System Grommets.

+1 If I am not mistaken you take about 10 grams away from the hoop by removing the CAPs and replacing them with a bumper guard. That is going to affect the power and stability. I find the CAPs a good system for protecting the frame, but it makes the racquet more difficult to string. Volkl had a more stringing-friendly system on the V-engine.

The second best mix of a Wilson Pro Staff and Prestige feel.

Yeah I searched so I picked up MG radical grommets and MG prestige grommets. I heard the MG CAP grommets were easier to string.
Every 18x20 is a pain no matter the grommets. |
