I just meant that I was mentally sold, after seeing a live pic of the shoes that was since removed from this thread. Haven't purchased but probably will. They're available online on the 1st.

I saw a photo of a v9 with the "inverted" indian wells colourway.. Is this for the clay season?

Yup, instead of total orange it is actually total crimson which is a very bright orange/reddish color- its one of my favorite nike colors.

I didn't care for those pink/black ones Fed wore @ the Australian Open. They're just too busy. It's like 4 different colors... You gotta go with like 3 colors max, and really have two main colors and then the third as a complementary color. Like they should have done Pink and White with black.

His shoes are what made me decide to get a pair. I wanted to customize them to make the pink grey, but the Nike website doesn't have that option. So I just went all black, which look even better in my opinion.

it's clay court shoes and supposed to release on 5/1 but not sure this shoes will be available in US.
Also IW shoes are White / Team Orange / Pure Platinum and clay court shoes colors are Stadium grey/white/total crimson.

I got the Stadium Grey/"Total Crimson" bandana in the mail yesterday and it looks almost neon orange to me. Not close red at all IMO. I was wondering if I maybe got the wrong one since I was expecting more if a true "crimson" color. After seeing your post I guess it's the correct one. I guess the name of the color had me expecting something different all together.

In case anyone is still holding out due to worries about sole wear. I bought these the day they showed up on TW in Sept - so this is just about 6 months, playing 2 to 3 times a week. I don't slide but I hit a lot of running groundies where I plant and pivot. This wear is completely consistent with other Nike shoes wear:



Probably have another 2-3 weeks left.

6months on one pair?! How?!

In another thread, I posted pictures of my stash of Vapor 8 consisting of 7 pairs, and rotating those 7 pairs lasted me 1 year and a half only.

Also, you must teach me how to preserve the Nike Swoosh.
