Default Where can I buy Western Grips?

I have played for a long time w/ Continental Grip. Now my new coach says that I should change it for the Western Grip. I can't find them anywhere so can anyone of you please tell me where can I buy them. Do they sell them in small packages? I don't want to use so much money on them... My coach says that my forehand could work better with Western Grip.

Thanks for answering!

I guess your post was amusing, I chuckled.

But for your first post, you're not exactly displaying a lot of intelligence, are you?

You should go buy yourself a semiwestern grip.

I found that Semiwesterns are quite a bit more expensive than the regular Westerns? Is there a big difference between the two?

Ah, but I believe you can only buy those in Hawaii! Could pose some problems, you'll have to get that one on ****.

SuDan, have you tried Eastern? Eastern and Semiwestern are my picks. Of course, like you said, the Semiwestern grips are quite expensive, but you pay for results, right?

Maybe get an Eastern with a Semiwestern overgrip.

Western should be called a Southern grip when your palm ends up under the grip. Guess you can also call it an Aussie grip, eh? Would they want it? So your name is Su, how do you do? These grips may be worthless anyway

I suspect this is a long time poster using a new screen name in order to mess with us. If so, very funny....gave me a much needed laugh.

Contact Bjorn Borg. I hear he's selling his Western grips dirt cheap since he doesn't need them anymore.

SuDan:Welcome Aboard!

Here's a link for a good western grip. I think they also come in a northern version.

why did your coach tell you to buy a western? those are so cheap, go get a eastern/semi-western hybrid for like a dollar extra. Then buy yourself a drop shot, backhand overhead, 1 handed backhand, slice backhand, twist serve, and volleys.

I heard they have an entire package for only 10.99

Whatever you do, never buy used ones. Even from a guy named Bjorn.

Actually one can buy a western grip - $2500 and months of lessons with a teaching pro.

I think you should go for the Atlantic one (aka diametrically opposed to the Continental). They are expensive and it may look a little snobbish on court at first but that's the price of true luxury... If you really want the tops, get a mink overgrip over it!
