Default Recommendations for a cheap slick poly?

I recieved some cash as christmas present and am looking to playtest a few strings. My budget for regular use is 8$ per 40ft set. Can you guys recommend some polys that are exceptionally slick? Also on a seperate note, I am currently playtesting Genesis Twisted Blade 16 mains with Cyber Flash 18 crosses at 54lb. I find that after about 20 mins of hard hitting the mains start to get stuck out of place. Do you guys find that twisted shaped polys don't snap back as well as regualar shaped polys? Could the twisted string be scratching up the cross making it rougher?

My favorite inexpensive polys are MSV Focus Hex, WC Black5Edge, and Discho Black Iontec.

Black Iontec is a very slick, smooth poly that plays very well at a great value. Focus Hex and 5Edge are shaped of course as their name implies.

I've never tried that hybrid with twisted razor but it used to be my string of choice. I never had a problem with it "sticking" in a full bed. I can usually get 8-10 hours of good play out of the string before the performance starts to drop.

Try out Kirschbaum Super Smash Orange. T-W is running a special right now: you can get a pack of four sets for $16.

I love Isospeed Baseline, it doesn't get much cheaper than <$40 a reel.
