Cool

Pete Carroll lost that game...3rd and 1, no Marshawn Lynch, no gain and then he goes for it on 4th down and the FB gets stuffed??? You go with your back or a QB sneak...when you don't get it, take the chip shot FG. They lost by two!

Then he tries the "ice the kicker" and it boomerangs as Bryant missed the one that didn't matter!

Still, a great season for them...they will only get better. Wilson is new fave QB. ..so crafty with the legs and has a gun for an arm!

Really disappointed with the Broncos.

The Falcons and Matty Ice.. well not so clutch i dont see em beating the 49ers.

I hope the 49ers win now. Fun, young team to watch.

The fact that I have to root for the Patriots now makes me nauseated.

No Harbaugh should ever get to hoist the Lombardi. Ever.

I picked the Broncos today even though they lost yesterday.

The Defensive calling was horrible last 25 seconds for the Seahawks. Forget trying to blitz which they did twice, the Falcons are known for having the best Receivers in the league and you need everybody back there.
I blame the head coach for this loss.

I was backing Seattle too, no doubt they did get it wrong at the end. The problem for me was the slow start though, same as last week. You can't keep giving yourself that much to do, it always catches up with you in the end.

Maybe next year!

Denvers secondary played horrible.

Ravens always play NE tough.

49ers look really good, and get Smith back to rush the passer.

My nightmare of seeing the SuperBaugh I shirt is in play. FML

These playoffs were the first time I've really watched Russel Wilson... he is friggin amazing, his throws, his smarts, decision making, his attitude, work ethic.

I've watched both Luck and RG3 and I think he's far better than both.

From the few games I've watched of RG3 I think scheme has a lot more to do with his production than is usually given credit for. Lots of read-option, Short slants/screens/deep bombs to wide open receivers.

Really? Texans didn't do anything but what everyone expected them to. I guess I'm just not that die hard of a fan, but then again it's better this way. I hate being let down by teams so much so that it literally affects your entire day or week. It's such a terrible feeling.

Cool

Gotta love the retirement angle if the Falcons/Ravens (birds of prey angle too...LOL) is the SB matchup...one of two first-ballot HOFers walks off into the sunset. Right now, I'd guess it's the least likely...most likely is the American history matchup...49ers/Patriots.

Since Manning won enough regular season games to get a bye, I'd say they are even.

Even.
They paid Manning at least 15 mil more per the one year.
X's and O's can influence winning or losing, but it doesn't tell the whole story. Atlanta really needed to win that one, or the franchise gives up hope.
Watch out for Seattle and Denver next year.

As long as I dont have to see the SuperBaugh I T-shirt I will be happy. AlthoughI cant imagine it not being 49ers vs Pats. Asking Flacco to play two back to games like that will be tough

Thats the other way. They lost in the same round, at least Payton had his team with a chance to win that second game until the secondary let him down. Gimmie Payton over Tebow anyday. Although Tebow should get a chance to play somewhere. Hes proven he can win games, there are not a ton of those guys out there.

Seattle should be very good probably battle San Fran for NFC west home field. Unless Stl and Arizona improve alot.

Denver will be there again as well. Weak division means playoffs again easy.

I don't think they gave Manning a 5 year 96 million dollar contract to be even with Tebow.

As great as QB as manning is he is not clutch in the post season. His post season record is 9-11. His bro is otoh is clutch in post season play.

The BroBowl is upon us! They were one game away each last year but have crossed both hurdles today. It's good to be a Harbaugh tonight!

I'm cheering for the 49ers in the Super Bowl, but I have a feeling the Ravens are going to win.
