That was a punk *** move by Brady having his leg "accidentally" in the air on the slide.

Though it pains me more that a horrible person like Ray Lewis might get to ride off into the sunset with a ring.

Go Niners.

Yeah, the Cleveland murder thing is kind of a damper on his career. But Ray's atoned since then with all the charities and after school programs he's started (not to mention he's probably the best defensive player we've seen in the last 20 years.)

Yeah I noticed that too. Thought of that head case Ndamukong Suh cheap-shotting Jay Cutler in the stones.

I also thought that upon first view.
But upon further review, I rescinded a bit and remembered a high held leg lowers the head, which Brady was trying to protect.
And if his shoe caught unmentionables, he'd have been hurt doing the backward cartwheel, tearing a hammy or twisting his ankle.
So maybe just accidental bad looking move.

Am I nuts?

Like I previously said, at the very least he is an accomplice to murder and he got nothing but, a misdemeanor for obstruction of justice (giving misleading information to police and telling his friends in the limo to never speak of what took place) in return for throwing his friends under the bus and the mysterious vanishing act his bloodied white suit.

You're right, that's an A+ role model right there. We should just forget about that like the media has because he's good at a game.

Matt Schaub but, yea seemed more or less along the same lines. But, I doubt the NFL will do anything about it since it's Brady.

You're right it was Schaub, thanks for the heads up. And you're also right about the "Tom" factor - the NFL won't give it a 2nd thought.

Schaub...
Notice his left shoulder was injured during the last sack he sufferred before the short toss that would not have garnered a first down, and no penalty because contact was within 5 yards of line of scrimmage.
Minor separation, I'd think, forcing him to throw his last ditch pass only 20 yards, and not the HailMary he needed.

Not talking about football. Ray has his own charity and is involved in many others. He also supports many causes, in 06 he won the JB award and he has been honoured with an act of kindness award for his community work. He is also a very strong Christian and helps people who are in need. Watch a football life for some examples. While what he did was wrong with the whole incident, one bad thing that he was never actually accused of, does not make him a bad person.

Actually, he was indicted aka officially accused. He struck a plea deal for obstruction of justice and testified against his friends in return for them dropping the murder charges(Not saying he was the murderer, but at least an accomplice)

He's about as innocent as OJ Simpson, just replace the glove with white jacket.

Not for nothing but, he also did his best Cromartie impression with 6 kids with 4 different moms.

His "good deeds" are pretty much a PR campaign to revamp his image. Clearly, they are working.

The 49ers are stacked on offense and defense. I can't see how the Ravens can beat them. Patrick Willis is a monster!

Yeah...back to X's and O's: I'm wondering if the Raven "D" can adapt to the speed Kaepernick adds to their offensive sets. A mobile QB may be harder for them to harass with their normal schemes.

That being said, Flacco has answered the bell each playoff game. Monster "D" or not, SF cannot afford a slow start like yesterday.

For the longest time, SuperBowls did not live up to the hype. We've been lucky to have a whole succession of good games recently. This one has all the potential to outdo them all. Wouldn't you love to see an OT???

Colin Kapernick will be inspired by Steve Young's start to Super Bowl 29, 2 TD strikes in the 1st quarter. If I'm the head coach, I create a DVD compilation of the 49ers Super Bowl highlights and give each team member a copy.

You forget these kids were barely alive when Montana/Young dominated. Kaepernick would just giggle at Young's epic scramble (non-SB vs Vikes?)...so slow he actually let a bunch of guys even touch him!

Yap, that should be be the end of all discussions on a topic of Ray's character. I mean have you ever heard/seen an openly proclaimed Christian being a bad person?

That was a bad point. Just put it in there for fluff. I really just wanted to argue with someone and was to lazy to do any research. I just don't get how one bad act can make someone a bad person.

Really? Says the guy with factual errors in his statements. "Never actually accused of." I would suggest you "research" the meaning of indicted.

Wasn't going to respond till I saw the bolded. The irony was too much... by the way did you notice how I used the correct form of too? I'd also love to hear more about all his charitable work before the year 2000. I guess I didn't do my research by watching "A Football Life: Ray Lewis" on espn.

Devastated that my boy Brady lost. I live in Atlanta, so the Falcons losing that day, made for one very anti climatic Superbowl setup. Don't care who wins.
