Hello
Used Tourna Blue Rough 17 for more than a year. Then tried Cyclone 18 and absolutely love it. But my elbow's started hurting. The only variable it's the string. I use Dunlop 4D 300 Tour and string at 52 reference tension. The other string I tried is the Solinco Bite 18. But hit only couple times, didn't like it. Any thoughts? Thanks |

Go back to the old string and see if that takes care of the problem. If so and if you still like the old string, then the problem is solved.
If not, consider the fact that tennis elbow or golfer's elbow usually develops very gradually from months of accumulated micro tears in the tendon and botched self-healing. So it may just be that your old Tourna string was damaging your elbow, except the symptoms began to surface when you made the switch to the new string. |
