Big sister has always been more mature, but unfortunately not quite as gifted and/or devoted to the sport as Serena. I hope Venus gets far enough to whip that classless sister of hers [incredibly unlikely, I know].

Venus vs Sugar will be a good matchup.

went to sleep...see stosur crumbled again at home, so similar to mauresmo at the french..and yes, i know zheng is a good player but still expect more from major winner, but that win is looking increasingly like an anomaly

The way MaSha is playing, i see her reaching the Final. Then it will be toss up between her and Serena. I voted for MaSha

Masha's playing great, but I can't help but wonder if Venus has a few tricks up her sleeve to outsmart her.

She did great!
ReRe is saying in her interview that she played really well and has a really bright future.

Date-Krumm at 5-2 in the first against Shahar Peer, having trouble closing it out. It's like the fifth deuce.

I know this is a bit premature but what does everyone think of Krumm's chances vs Safarova? I would love to see her in the fourth round of a major. Lucie can be wild, but her lefty game could throw Date off.

Woz, and her game, are looking pretty good.

Who's who is the Woz match? They look like twins.

When I first turned it on, I thought Vekic was Woz. Then they showed the other girl and I thought "Wait, that's Woz too. What?"

either Vekic is wearing waaaaaay too much blusher or she's going down to the heat (in the 90's?) ... her ears are also quite red ... not a good sign.
Caro looking comfy in comparison, now serving for the first set 5-1

plus woz is wearing her stella mccartney dress with the pleated yellow skirt. vekic is wearing the shorter, white bandage type skirt. plus woz is the more natural blonde. vekic's hair color is more uniform and looks like she just got the color done
