Georgia leads Miss State 1-0. Bogaerts retires at 1 with KU leading 6-2 4-0

UGA with 1st sets at 1, 3 & 4 and Miss St with 1st sets at 2, 5, & 6. UGA has already won the 2nd set at 5 and 6 to even those up.

UCLA up 2-1 now and up on 3 of the remaining 4 courts. Not over yet but I thought Baylor's top 3 would do a little better.

I never really liked horse meat but broncho steak sounds good about now.

watched the Ms State vs Ga game today and boy was it WINDY!!!!! Tough loss for my bulldogs. Ben Wagland was down 7-6, 5-2 and started stalling best he could when he saw court 5 was about done. He gets a 4 1/2 minute **** break with possibly just 1 game left in his match!!! Kinda cowardly in my opinion. Needless to say he was booed when he came back to the court. Ms state returned the favor when Vinti (MSU) held serve and caused a turn over at which point he decided he needed a **** break with possibly 1 game left in the match on court 5 (returning the favor) Malte Stropp got 2 opportunities to break Ben Wagland to win his match before Vinti got beat on court 5 but just couldn't get it done before they suspended their play.

Lost respect for Wagland after this little stunt plus dropping the "F" bomb several times didn't help his case!!!

Don't think Wagland will be at 2 again this year barring an injury to Singh or Pasha. It sounds like his match today went just like his match against Lutjen on Friday. He had plenty of chances in the 1st set to put it away but couldn't then lost his cool. I didn't watch the 2nd set because I knew he was going downhill but he was close to tossing his racket at the end of the 1st set. He's got all the physical tools but he's not mentally strong enough yet to bang with the big boys at 1 or 2 singles.

What happened with Bogaerts at 1?

Just play out the matches. Stops that nonsense. Diaz likes to stop the matches.

Ole Miss beat Tennessee 4-2. Rebels dropped doubles then won at 2, 3, 4, and 5 singles.
Texas A&M whipped Kentucky 4-0. Not a good weekend for UK especially Jomby.

Cal took the doubles point over Duke and has won 1st sets at 1, 2, 3, & 4.

tough to figure out how good A&M is with their mix of wins like that and OSU vs some of their losses

and yeah Duke in trouble, could be a big old foot in my mouth for the hard time i've been giving Cal the last few days, we'll see, need Cunha and Mengel to show some bigtime fight

Cardinal takes the Doubles point and is starting to kick butt in singles.

2-2 team score - hemmeler with a routine win at 5

redlicki getting back in his 2nd set after being down a break and a game pt to go down 3-0, now 2-2, to give duke slightly more options

mengel misses another break/set pt

this one mighty important, lots of momentum for duke if they get all three of these heading to third sets

cunha up 5-3 in 2nd, redlicki saves a break pt to get to 4-2 in 2nd

if cunha wins i think either mengel or redlicki gets it...if he loses, well, duke may lose and deservedly so - this is the kind of match the guy who was the NCAA #1 seed as a freshman has to win in his senior yr if duke is going to be the contender i claim they are this year

#65 Memphis def. #23 Cornell 4-3 in Ithaca, NY. Memphis won the match 4-2, then dropped #4 singles in a MTB. Memphis snaps Cornell's 8 match win streak. This is the 2nd highest win in Memphis men's tennis history. Their hightest was last year over then ranked #14 Tennessee in Knoxville. UT declined to play them this year, cowerds.
