Default Poly strings

i was just researching the site because i might have a case of (back-hand) tennis elbow coming on, the advise seems to be no poly strings, so I want to make sure the strings on my racket are not 'polys' ..

I forgot exactly which model I have, I just remember they were techno-fibre, they are kinda thin and grey..

I was assuming polys are are the thicker-more common types.. correct?
