Great mixed doubles match

I just watched the Australian Open mixed match on ESPN3 that was between the teams of -

Yaroslava Shvedova (KAZ) and Denis Istomin (UZB) vs. Jarmila Gajdosova (AUS) and Matthew Ebden (AUS)

and had to say that it had some really entertaining points. Mixed isn't my favorite league to play, but after watching this match I have a greater appreciation for it when it is played well. If you do watch the match you'll note that the team that wins does so because of the female teammate who plays well in almost all "important" points.

The other nice thing about this match is how happy both teams seemed throughout the match even when one player was headhunted and beaned in the groin he still had a smile on his face through the match.

I wonder why they don't show mixed on ESPN/ESPN2..

Is it because it isn't as popular as Doubles and singles?

The Mixed final is being shown live on Tennis Channel (12:30 am EST) Saturday so there must be some interest. I'll probably tape it to see if the team that I watched in the Semifinals can pull it out.
