Yes. Second of twelve. It's especially patronizing how people use the "but she writes her own songs!" as an excuse for why we should all like her, as if it's unheard of for a female to write her own music and we should like her solely based on that criterion.

I'm personally neutral toward Swift. Can't say I care for her music, but holy crap does it make a lot of money. If I made that kind of money churning out the same type of music, I would keep doing it too...

I'd also argue that aside from these two weeks, has been putting up quite decent results for awhile now.
