What level? Supers? Champs? Zats? In my opinion, for lower level players with little match experience are focused more on J.N for the fun aspect - I'd give it a go! Otherwise for a higher ranked player who is going there for serious practice, I really don't recommend going. I have lots of friends who thought it was boring because it was mostly fun and games.

The OP is obviously not from TX, so he/she has no idea what you mean about ZAT, Supers, Champs. They have two different programs, a regular program and a summer academy program, so they can accomodate all levels. My son is 13 and he went last year and loved it.

Exactly.......If you do at least 3 weeks you can sign up and do the academy program......it's defiantly NOT fun and games. The weekly summer camps are good solid camps but not in any way as intensive as the academy program.

I've had 3 kids all go thru the Academy (child no.3 is there now) at Newks and one also was full time at Sanchez-Casal and the Academy at Newks is strong.

To the OP give them a call direct and talk to them about what your options are - the Academy is where you will live, breathe and eat tennis -

I guarantee they did not do the Academy at Newk's - you have to do a minimum of 3 weeks to get into the Academy program, bet they all did a spring break or summer "camp" - still good tennis and you get like 6 hrs of instruction per day.
