Easy 3 set win for Federer. Nothing to see here.

Federer in 3
Fed with rustiness in 4
FedError in 5

Davy should put up a good fight.

I'd say 7-6 7-6 6-3.

I dont see davydenko beating the form federer showed in his first match but i think he might be able to grab an early set off him.

Roger made it look pretty, but Benoit kind of gifted him that match. Maestro is going to have to show a little more craft to beat someone who wants to beat him who also knows more of his tricks.

Davydenko to race out of the blocks and take the first set, Fed to ein the second in a tie break, then run away with the match so 2-6 7-6 6-2 6-0

All comes down to Federer. Davydenko is back to near his best, which we know can hurt Federer, so if he hasn't had enough match practice (which could well be the case) it could be very tight.

Davydenko couldn't even finish off Gasquet. How will he beat Federer?

That said, I'd be excited if he did win. Surprises are always great!

Cool

SexiTennis prevails rather easily in the evening spotlight...I see the SwissBakery staying open a bit late tonight to feed LesMis-like Kolya a much needed bagel or breadstick...SexiRogi in straights, under 10 games surrendered.

Well, I still think it could go to either 4 or 5 sets. I followed the way he played at Doha, just a few weeks ago. He was aggressive, still has the passion for it and dominated all of his matches apart from the final. He didn't just win, he was emphatic. I can see him taking the first set off of Federer and if he get's lucky with a tie break it could go to 5.

Having said that, Federer has had an awesome year and is well rested. The guy can do anything. This will be fun.

No way Davydenko gets a set.

Kolya could get a set if he brings his A game from last week before the Doha final and FedError comes out to play.

Lots of ifs there. Just evaluate it without the ifs and that'll be closer to reality.
