Default (28) M Baghdatis vs (4) D Ferrer

Bookmakers pay marcos 7 to 1

I think marcos tomorrow has a real chance of getting through obviously he is the underdog but if he plays well he can win

This one could be interesting. If Baggy can win the first set, he's got a good chance.

Anyway, still I think Ferrer will be too consistent. David in 4.

Last time Marcos beat him in a slam, Daveed wasn't playing to this kind of form.

No way Marcos takes this one. Might take a set, but Ferrer's too good in the end.

I think he'll take a set. Ferru spoke of him with respect after his match with Smyczek (did I spell that right?).

Is Marcos even seeded though?

it's basically bagdhatis' call. he is a fabulous ball striker and if he has an "on day", he'll take it in 4.

Bags is a good dude and a lot of fun to watch but I don't think Ferrer needs to have an 'on' day. His "on" is all about his consistency which he has in spades. Guy just doesn't miss..you literally have to "big shot" knock him off the court (e.g. Djoko) and I'm not sure Bags can 'bang big' consistently for 3-5 sets.

My heart wants Baggy, but my head says Ferrer will beat him soundly. Hoping for a 4 or 5-setter.

Baghdatis is too fat to play in this kind of heat against a beast like Ferrer. Ferrer in 4.

Forecast to be a high in mid-70s...heat won't be the issue. DF to prevail in a tight one...hope it goes the distance!

Baghdatis is my favourite player but I don't think he will win here. Ferrer is too consistent and although I see Marcos taking a set or possibly even two if things go really well, I still think Ferrer will come through. Hoping Marcos can play his best tennis, serve well, volley well, and be aggressive.
