Default Asics Gel Resolution 4 size

Tennis warehouse suggest to buy half size smaller.
Is it true.
I wear 8.5 male addidas b6, shall I buy 8.0 gr4?
Thanks.

I think the toe is longish and elf-like, as it was so indelicately put, so if you have long feet maybe don't go down.

If you have regular feet you can go down.

For sure go down 1/2 size from your Barricades. I went down a full size from my usual 12.

With due respect to all other posters in the countless threads on this topic, there is no definitive answer to your question.

If you read all of the responses, some say they've adjusted by a half size, and some say their regular size has worked just fine. (I'm in the latter group.)

Your best guess is probably your best answer—meaning that if you're sorta in between sizes, you might try the half size smaller, and if you're one of those people who always wears the same size in every shoe you own (both tennis and street shoes), you might be better off sticking with your normal size.

If you buy from a major online retailer, you can buy both and return the size that doesn't fit. A lot of posters have tried that.

Good luck. Just remember, we're all different.

asics are very narrow and have a "pointy front". so If you have narrow feet with long toes, go for them, otherwise look elsewhere.

My example: U wore Nike Vapor tour 6 (wide shoe) in size US13, now I have Asics GR3 SZ 13 and they are LONG, but too narrow for me.

I changed from Adidas Barricade 6 which was causing tennis toe. I bought Asics resolution 4 a half size smaller than my normal size. When they arrived I instantly noticed the "elvish" look. Having feet on the wide side, I was very concerned. One month later, no tennis toe, great comfort and one satisfied customer. The Asics has a soft bouncy feel on the court. There has been no increased wear that might be expected from such a soft feel. Highly recommended.
