That's not hard, Federer didn't serve well last night. But against Milos is a different match.

Okay so I watched the replay of the match and my observations are that Tomic needs to work on foot speed and flexibility i.e. Djoker. Fed was the better mover. IMO Tomic had a number of opportunities especially 2nd set tb. 3rd set he went on a walkabout!

I think he was mentally gone at that stage. Whether you can empathize or not, he aquainted himself well yesterday- basically played at his max for two sets. And whilst I agree Fed and Djoker are miles ahead in terms of movement/flexibility, Tomic is pretty damn tall

Tomic is definitely talented BUT I think he puts too much pressure on himself boasting about his skills prior to the Federer match. All Tomic did was fire Roger up. Roger was determined to show Tomic he has a ways to go before he reaches the elite level.

Tomic is good but I don't like how people are attacking Milos Raonic here. Milos is already in the top 20 he's ranked number 15 and he's more consistent than Tomic. Tomic does not have Milos weapons and to beat the best you need weapons. Milos already has a winning record against Andy Murray 2-1 in care people have forgotten. Also, Milos has pushed Federer much harder than Tomic has. Tomic has not even taken a set off of Federer and Raonic has three times already. Federer does not like facing powerful players like Raonic who have the ability to hit him off the court.

lol, maybe he should have shut his mount in that first interview he had last week where he was talking smack about the 3rd round. Looks to me like the old man smacked that smartass around a bit and taught him a lesson yesterday.

"smacked"? The first 2 sets were tight. Nothing like a spanking at all.

Yeah, he got gassed. He hasn't built that much endurance yet. But before that, the match was pretty competitive.

Even if he was gassed, he still got spanked.

Only in the last set. Much better than last year. And he was close to getting the 2nd. I think he'll get a set off Fed soon if they play again.

Yeah, 2 years from now he'll start winning, I think.

It's amazing that he hadn't heard about Federer's achievements before the on court intros. Kid needs to learn to read and buy a newspaper.

No Djokovic??

The loudmouth moron is just trying to do some damage control after opening his big mouth. No respect = loser. It's good to have confidence but he was trash talking and boasting.

I was thinking best of 3 in the near future. Best of 5 will take a bit longer.

Best of 3, possible in a year, but I still say 2 years.
