This tournament hasn't even brought anything out of him. It's like he's playing a 250 event against tired scrubs.

Well that not totally surprising. Look at all the scrubs we got from Rank 5-6 on down.
Murray could just sleepwalk through these guys. He won't be challenge until Roger.. Though I'm not even sure, Roger will be that huge of a challenge anymore on a slower hardcourt. I can't see Fed staying in rallies with Murray anymore on slow court. The only guy I think Murray is gonna have to up his game ( to top form) for his Nole |

Come on.
Haase, Souza, Berankis, Simon. I could hardly line up a weaker bunch of clowns if I had the power to choose the draw for my favourite player. |

About time we have a dedicated thread for this joke. Like I said the other day, playing against a bunch of nobodies at this stage of a grand slam is ridiculous.
He has no excuses whatsoever if he doesn't get to the final, that's for damn sure.

Murray has had the single easiest draw in the open era of grand slam tennis... Even his quarter will be a stroll. He should be ashamed that he's been broken in the tournament already...

Not really, if he has to defeat both Federer and Djokovic it's automatically harder than Djokovic's draw who only needs to defeat Fed or Murray.

Whereas Fed has played all but his first match at night. Seriously it's like Murray doesn't exist, no commentator's talking about him here in Australia. |

It all comes down to when Federer, Murray, and the Djokovic play each other in most cases.

Yeah his draw has been a joke. Might work against him if he has to suddenly up his game two levels. I doubt many would have pushed him anyway though.

History shows that players that have had a hard draw do better in the big matches than those who have had an easy one. We'll see how he does against Fed.

Break point conversions by opponents:
Murray R1: 2/7 R2: 0/0 R3: 3/12 R4: 2/2 Total: 7/21 Federer R1: 0/3 R2: 0/0 R3: 0/1 R4: 0/0 Total: 0/4 This is also with very different draws - just saying...

That's because he has not played anybody of significance yet. A tired and lame Simon does not count. But beating Fed then Djoker will be a tough task. He can probably beat Fed, but Novak ? In AO ......after probably a 5 set against Fed........we'll see.

yeah but i meant it as a relative term. 7/8 of his masters titles and his lone slam title were won on decoturf. he has never been great on the plexi surfaces.

Not having been tested before going against a tough opponent (likely in the semis) is not necessarily a good thing, especially at the beginning of a season.
