Come on Serena! If she doesn't win at least an American will win.

Agreed. They should both be removed from the tournament grounds immediately. One needs spine treatment and the other needs to find one.

At least Stephens is smart enough to chip back plenty of first serves from Serena and make her play longer rallies where she isn't ball bashing. Injury or not, I don't think Sloane fears Serena and is exposing some of the areas where Serena can be exploited.

Sloan is hitting the ball higher and heavier which is exposing Serena's poor backwards movement.

Since Serena is out of this--whether she survived this match or fell in the next, i think the smart money is on Azarenka, as it will be her best chance to regain any majors form she's lost since...last January.

I understand that. But do they have to enumerate all the hyperbole there is to put her in the highest pedestal and make her a "Saint and a Goddess". A matter of fact commentating will do fine.

Yeah. She hurt her back trying to stop running into the net. Her feet stopped but the butt kept moving forward.

Glad I'm not the only one to notice. These announcers sound like they would lick The dirt off Serena's shoes if she asked them to.
