Sloane is doing her best Almagro impersonation right now.

What happened to Serena's ankle?

Did she tweak it again?

Tipsarevic could learn a lot about competitiveness and grit from Serena.

Seriously, all of that overwork with doubles is not sensible at all. Venus (and by extension, the family) needs to accept that Venus has the lesser career and stop draining Serena by dragging this doubles crap into another year. It makes no sense at this stage of Serena's career, and she's already accomplished more than enough (majors) in doubles.

Sloan blew that game with foolish errors and a double fault. And....she's sitting in the heat!!! Go inside and take a bathroom break, get in the AC, wash off with cool water....refresh yourself!

I believe Serena got injured on that sudden stop near the net. And, she probably does need to have the trainer look at it. But, still, I wish she'd wait until the set is over.

If this girl had a killer instinct it'd be one set all. If Serena doesn't come back out in a wheelchair, she's taking the match in 10 minutes or less. With the semifinalists playing tomorrow at noon, I wonder if Serena will be fully recovered in time. Vika will make her move as much as possible now.

Oh come on...its not as though Tipsarevic is ever going to amount to anything--or anyone expects him to. He's a mouth & attitude with as much chance of winning a major as a fly happening to land on court.

She's young, nervous and obviously not thinking straight. If this was any other opponent, besides Serena, I think she would have done so.

She's back. The serve is not at full strength, but she will grit through.
