Default Jason: TCS tension

I am using TCS with the new Aeroprodrive at 52 string tension. I play approximately 6-7 hours in a week (would want to play more but my two small kids need attention).

So, at a rate of hitting 6-7 hours a week, when should I change TCS? One week, two weeks?

I hit with extreme topspin in my forehand and combine topspin and slice in my backhand.

How great is that TCS? We love that stuff! I'd re-string once every 2 weeks.

I'm not J (and your question was already answered), but I look at this question in two ways when it comes to TCS:

There's a relatively large initial tension drop, but playability is pretty consistent from that point onwards. You can either:

A) String 10% higher to compensate to get a closer reference string bed stiffness after the large initial drop off, OR
B) Cut and restring often.

Playability is significantly better early on due to the subtle texture on fresh TCS, so I choose B. This is the one major drawback of TCS. It doesn't last long, but it's one of my favorites while it does. Just a heads up in case you haven't gotten a lot of hours on the frame. I'd say 4-6 hours until the tension drops significantly.
