I've always loved gut. Once I've been using gut no multi has been able to pull me away. I use the PHT/VS hybrid but I'm very interested in seeing how the VS/PHT feels.

The VS/gut combo keeps playability way longer...actually I was just hitting with one I had strung in the summer and it is pretty decent..although the times I have run PHT and xcel it is ok too a bit more dampened imo. If you have the money go with the gut it plays better..if you need to cheap out a multi or excel is fine. I always string my PDR at 62 or 63 lbs.
