Not much should be taken from the Ferrer SF. He has no weapons to hurt Djokovic with. But Murray is a bigger threat to Djokovic than Federer is. Having said that, Federer has a chance, but it's not as good as Murray's. I also think people are underselling Murray. If Murray gets to the final, Djokovic is only a slight favourite, say 60/40 IMO. In regards to the USO SF, he never destroyed Ferrer by scoreline, but it could be said that Ferrer won the first set of that match easily because Djokovic's head was too worried about the wind that day, and when they came back Djokovic destroyed him the next day in perfect conditions which will be the case on Sunday basically. So there are similarities in how much everybody is overblowing Djokovic as the runaway favourite. He is the favourite, but not by as much as most people seem to think, especially if he gets Murray.

Since his U.S Open win Murray has lost to Djokovic twice on faster courts which give him a much better chance than these courts, and Djokovic won a huge mental match in Shanghai saving all those match points. I think giving Murray 40% to actually beat Djokovic if he reaches the final is very generous, 25% absolute max (personally I think less than that, the only thing I agree with is he still has more chance than Federer would have).

there is only one man who can beat Beat Ferrer like Novak did and that is Federer. Murray for his life cannot beat ferrer 2,2,1. So advantage djokovic from a form standpoint.

I can 100% say with confidence that if there was no wind or if the conditions were ideal Djokovic would have dismissed Muzza in 4 sets.

Djoker just seems to struggle with wind. heck he even lost a set to the mighty ferrer only to destroy him the next day under ideal conditions.

Djoker will fight tooth and nail under ideal conditions. If everything is normal I expect Djoker to beat Murray in 4 if he passes federer test.

And I can say with 100% confidence that if there were no wind - Murray would still have won. I'd be talking rubbish of course because there's no way of obtaining that level of certainty - but I'll say it anyway.

I guess we're both entitled to our opinion - what I would say is that the wind didn't blow in set 5 and yet remarkably enough, Murray broke Novak 3 times.

2 and 2 at 2010 WTF, 3 and 2 at 2011 Tokyo.

Lol...just what are the 'ideal conditions' for Djokovic to play in? Maybe if there had been no wind and the conditions were more 'ideal' for Murray, he might have won in straight sets!

Well, boo-hoo! If he can't cope with a bit of wind, maybe he shouldn't be playing? Federer and Nadal and most everybody else seem to cope all right. If they can, so should he. He'd better start learning.

Maybe he will. But if he doesn't, I don't expect anybody to try and blame it on 'the conditions'!

I can say with 100% confidence that Djokovic is going to school Murray or Fed in the final. The reason I am so confident in my prediction abilities is because I have a gift for these things. A friend challenged me to say with 100% confidence whether a coin toss is going to be heads or tails and I was right almost half the time. That means 50% of the time, my 100% confidence is validated!

You're too cool for school, that's for sure.

Djokovic will be lucky to win games against Fed/Murray.

He had insufficient nutrition, due to celiac disease. Which is a allergic reaction to gluten.

Nadal beat Ferrer 6-2 6-2 6-1 at RG last year. He also bageled him in Rome last year as well.
