Default Bad Back Back for Fed?

Roger slipped on an undershirt sometime during the Tomic match. Wasn't even that cold during the match (about 20 degrees celcius). Is it possible that his back is giving problems again a la Wimbledon'12?

He served very well, don't think it's an issue to be honest.

I guess it's just precautionary.

Yes unfortunately. No chance against the big boys with a bad back. It's the same aggravation that caused him to lose AO2009.

Does Federer have a contract with these TV companies that states they cannot, under any circumstances, film him putting these undershirts on? Unless I just happen to miss it when it happens I've never seen him slip one on during a changeover, but I've seen him change shirts under normal circumstances many a time (same as any other player).

Anyway, I bet it's just precautionary.

Could just be preventative.

Seem to recall a black undershirt as he was hoisting #7 at SW19...

He wore this last year when he won Wimbledon, probably going the superstitious route.

Can someone tell me how slipping into one of these crew tee's has anything to do with having a bad back?

The undershirt must be laced with PED's

Yeah because that's what it takes for Federer to breadstick Tomic. I mean Tomic got bagelled by Youzhny about 3 months ago.

Well, the Hover Boots he borrowed from the Shadow Temple helped as well.

Fed put his vest during the 2nd set. There was a snapshot at the start which didn't have the vest.

Fed's seem fine today, his serve has been immaculate, nor has the ground strokes been too bad, the FH was mainly affected by the flat FH trades against Tomic so errors from that wing were bound to creep up. The BH has been absolutely solid and unbreakable today.

Yeah, because his back locked up during that slam.

The idea is to keep muscles warm and loose to prevent muscle strain and fatigue (avoid back spasms in Fed's Wimbly'12). Compression sportswear is design for that purpose but not sure if Fed is wearing one or just a regular T.

No undershirt at the start after checking replay of the match.
