Federer is an amazing player, but has THE worst fans.

Federer fans are so bitter, spoiled, whiny ... Alot of them can't stand the fact that he is not the best player any more.


Whenever Federer looses, all I see is complaints! Just look at the topics on this forum since Federer lost to Andy.

When Fed wins 50 grand slams in a row, then it's like "Oh.. marvelous, astonishing!" But when Novak plays two matches well, it's like "HE IS ON STEROIDS! THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE! THAT IS AGAINST THE LAWS OF PHYSICS!"

Just appreciate game of tennis, and this wonderful era in tennis. Roger Federer is NOT tennis. He is the best player in history, as a Novak fan I accept that, but please do realize he isn't everything in tennis.

Well, he's 31.5 years old so I can accept that he's not the best player anymore.

His forehand is no longer the best.

His serve is nowhere near clutch.

But, I can't stand that tennis courts rewards defensive and physically superior players (only those who can rally all day) for 90% of the time.

What I want is change.

More upsets.

Attacking players like Roger doing well at places.

Defensive players like Novak doing well at other places.

Homogenised conditions are ******* me off. I want to see random people blast top seeds off the court more often.

Maybe speed up USO and Wimby and keep FO & AO slow.

They are insecure. No one would need to attack other players so often, or spin history if "their guy" was a true GOAT worthy of the cult-like praise he recieves by certain TW members. He's not the best playing right now, or a GOAT, so his fans have to badmouth other players (and their fans) repeatedly, because they are frightened that there is a strong chance of someone else erasing their "god's" majors records. That is obsession from a group who--obviously--invest too much of their lives in Federer.

And statistically if there are so many of them let's say 10 million Federer fans for example and 1% of them are idiots, that's 1 million idiots which is a lot whereas if Murray has 100,000 fans, 1% of that is only 10,000 idiots, far less of a negative impact and scourge to the world but still the same proportion.
