Default Australian Open R4 Roger Federer(2) - Milos Raonic(13)

Who will win the match? Will Milos Raonic break Roger Federer's QF streak?

Federer.....hopefully.
Why couldn't Djokovic or Murray draw Raonic.

If Fed plays as well as he played against Tomic, Raonic will be easier to beat despite his monster serve. Straight sets with maybe two tiebreaks.

I think it being BO5 may help Federer to be a bit looser, and help him relax and break easier. I'd say Fed in 3, with 1 TB.

Very difficult first and second set, if Federer can win in both tie breakers or breaks at least once he will be solid going into the third or fourth set if needed.

Roger in 4 ... something like 6-7, 7-6, 6-4, 6-3 ... but a five-setter wouldn't be shocking with the faster speed of the court. Actually, the faster speed helps Rogi only when he gets to the semis. You'd think he'd want it slower for Raonic and Tsonga.

Raonic is quite comfortable playing Federer
has taken sets each time off him
let's see if he can upgrade on that
It will be tough, but ...

Anyway, very good performance by Raonic already. Better than expected based on the latest results.

Because Murray is the master of lucky draws. If Murray had drawn Raonic it would have been the kiss of death anyway, Raonic would have lost in 1R.

I think Fed will have a much easier time in the rallies against Raonic than against Tomic. How easy the match will be depends on how well Roger is able to return the big serve.

Fed in 3 if his return is as good as today. Once rallies ensue Raonic will create a UE after 5 shots or something.

Wishful thinking?

Roger is not a MUG on fast conditions and no matter how fast it is, it can't be as fast as US Open.. And Roger will be comfortable in rallies

Raonic will take a set, as in previous matches...

Murray played (and beat) Raonic in the 4th round of the last grand slam that was played.

But don't let facts get in the way of spouting pysh - it doesn't normally stop you.
