It feels great when new. It loses the grip ability and becomes slippery when my palm is sweaty. I actually had the racket flew off my hand on serve once!

I think I have tried them all.

Tournagrip is the best in humid environments due to the absorbency factor. It is more cloth-like than the tacky white overgrips like Wilson Pro, Gamma Supreme or Yonex Supergrap. The pros get them for free and change them every changeover. They are great at soaking up the sweat.

I recently tried the white Kneissel Tournastar overgrips and they were sort of a hybrid in between cloth Tournagrips and the white plastic tacky ones. I think I got them on the bay. They were actually pretty good so I might get some more of those.

I have used some other Alpha overgrips that became slippery when wet. Not such a good thing for an overgrip.

I have no clue how people like Tournagrip (blue). but meh, to each his own.

I've tried just about every single overgrip out there & personally, my favorite is Klipper's white overgrips, it's definitely the most underrated overgrip out there, but I'm very picky about how grips are wrapped (it has to be wrapped perfectly) & with a 4 3/8 grip (+leather) it fails.

2nd favorite is Solinco Wonder Overgrip.

I too tried them all.

> 90 degrees = Tournagrip (like paper so needs to be slightly damp, otherwise very nasty feeling and abrasive)
< 90 degrees = Tournatac (great comfort, easy on hands, not spongy and abrasive like wilson and yonex grips)

No, unfortunately not. But here in the US Tourna is only $1 per grip which is a small amount to spend for every 3 hours of play.

To tell the truth, Wilson Pro and Yonex Super are also good for only few hours of play and then the initial tack is gone. It's just they don't become shredded like Tourna for weeks, so they seem like a better value. But I agree, we need to use fresh overgrip every time we go to court and in this case Tourna is probably my favorite in humid conditions. Have not tried Tourna Tac yet...

I just started using a new overgrip that is fantastic. Pacific Xtack Pro Dry. It feels like a hybrid between Supergrap and Tournagrip. It's very absorbent and has the tackiness of Supergrap. I think those who like tacky grips but are looking for more absorbency should give it a shot.

I basically do the same thing. But because I sweat a lot, I use Tournagrip as long as the weather is comfortable. Anything around 65-70 and above. Also humid days almost regardless of the temp.

On colder days I use the Babolat Pro Overgrip for it's tackiness....

I used that impregnated gauze alot when I was younger, so TournaGrip does not really bother me in terms of its roughness. I really like it.

+1 though I just use Tournatac no matter what the temperature.

Not really, if your hands are very sweaty, they wont wear that fast.
If your hands are always dry , it rips out the grip very fast.
thats my experience, ofcoz i am the hands which are really sweaty

Maybe overgrips can be made of Sham-Wow. Pretty absorbsent and soft, right?

It's a damn annoyance that Yonex does not offer the very popular Deep Blue coloured overgrips as a bulk 30-pack, whilst they do offer the far less popular Wine Red as a bulk pack. And it's not even wine red - it's actually a deep pink colour. Yonex should really offer Deep Blue as a bulk pack.
