I know he's gonna earn alot of points, but do you think JMDP can make it all the way to #5, passing Sod in the mean time?

Good point - I thought long and hard about who my year end number 5 would be. I'm going on the theory that Delpo works his way back until Wimbledon, doing nothing special - then picks it up during the US hardcourt swing then maybe has a good end to the year as well. But yes, Robin could just as easily be 5 - maybe even higher.

Rafa wins 1/2 slams
Murray wins a slam
Roddick celebrates the 10th anniversary of Goran winning Wimbledon by playing aggressively and finally wins that elusive Wimbledon trophy
Soderling makes his third FO final, could win it
True class doesn't win an MS title (unlikely)
Dolgo makes top 20
Isner makes top 10
At the end of the year, the ATP decides on a rule adding a 5th set tiebreak to all Grand Slam matches.

I think you guys are giving Murray too much credit here.

I mean what exactly did he do this year to give you the impression he will win a GS or the WTF.

Personally I watched the WTF semi against Nadal and thought Murray's mental weakness cost him the match.

Until Murray fixes his habit of choking at big moments I dont see any GS or WTF titles in his sights.

Beat both Roger and Rafa a couple of times? Made a slam final? Doesn't mean he will win one of course.

You have to say this looks like a very likely scenario.

^^Problem is we never see seasons with 2 players splitting the slams. I read it hasn't happened in the open era. Of course there is always a first time.

Roger OWNS Murray in slams, his game doesn't match well against Feds especially on the big stages.
